Thank you for using our Carbon Clipboard. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be transparent about how your data is handled. Here's everything you need to know:
Carbon collects clipboard data locally on your device to provide you with a history of copied items for your convenience. This may include text, URLs, and other content you copy.
We do not collect, transmit, or share your clipboard data with any server or third party. Everything stays on your machine.
All clipboard history and settings are securely stored on your local device. Carbon does not use cloud storage or any remote databases. You have full control over your data.
Carbon runs automatically in the background to monitor clipboard changes and store history. It does not interfere with other apps and uses minimal system resources.
You can pause or disable background activity at any time through the removing Carbon from the system tray or by quitting Carbon.
We take reasonable steps to secure your clipboard history on your device. However, as with any software, we recommend using the App on a secure, private machine to avoid unintended access.
We believe in privacy-first design. What you copy is your business — and stays that way.
If you have questions or concerns about privacy, feel free to reach out:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, well update the "Last Updated" date above. If significant changes are made, we'll notify you through the App or official channels.
Your data stays on your device. We don't collect, sell, or spy on anything. You're in control.
